Uttapam is a delightful breakfast recipe which is loved by kids and adults as well. It is a very popular South Indian recipe and a very healthy dish as it contains lots of vegetables and goodness of rice and dal as well. Uttapam is a tea-time snack or you can have it as a healthy breakfast option. It is an easy-to-make and quick recipe, which gets prepared in minutes if you have the dosa batter ready.
Ingredients:
- 2-3Cup Dosa Batter
- 1Medium Onion Chopped Finely
- 1 Tomato Chopped Finely
- 1 Capsicum Chopped Finely
- 2Green Chilies Chopped
- 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Sambhar Masala
- Few Coriander Leaves
- Salt To Taste
- Oil As Needed
Steps:
- Mix all the vegetables on the batter and mix well.
- Grease a griddle with oil & heat it well.
- Pour the batter on the hot griddle & spread it with the help of spoon or flat surface bowl.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle oil towards the edges.
- When the base is firm, flip it and cook on the other side until it is cooked well.
- Serve the uttapam with any chutney or sambar.
