Easy Uttapam Recipe | How To Make Vegetable Uttapam Or Uthappa | Uthappa Recipe

Uttapam is a delightful breakfast recipe which is loved by kids and adults as well. It is a very popular South Indian recipe and a very healthy dish as it contains lots of vegetables and goodness of rice and dal as well. Uttapam is a tea-time snack or you can have it as a healthy breakfast option. It is an easy-to-make and quick recipe, which gets prepared in minutes if you have the dosa batter ready.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3Cup Dosa Batter
  • 1Medium Onion Chopped Finely
  • 1 Tomato Chopped Finely
  • 1 Capsicum Chopped Finely
  • 2Green Chilies Chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Sambhar Masala
  • Few Coriander Leaves
  • Salt To Taste
  • Oil As Needed

Steps:

  1. Mix all the vegetables on the batter and mix well.
  2. Grease a griddle with oil & heat it well.
  3. Pour the batter on the hot griddle & spread it with the help of spoon or flat surface bowl.
  4. Lower the heat and sprinkle oil towards the edges.
  5. When the base is firm, flip it and cook on the other side until it is cooked well.
  6. Serve the uttapam with any chutney or sambar.
